Personality:

She's an honest person and a very good liar(she lies whenever she needs to,and that's rarely). She cries over little things and gets depressed easily as she overthinks about a particular event of the day.She is also a pessimist, but she's trying her best to change herself and be more positive about everything (especially during exams ahaha). She has a very weird sense of humour and loves telling people terrible jokes, as long as they smile to it, she doesn't really care and so she tries her best to keep everyone happy, she also loves helping people in need.From to time time she talks to her imaginary friends,but of what we will never know. She has another side of her that she rarely shows (only to her bestie,whoever that person may be).

Backstory:

Naoko was born on a small island called Enoshima. She has a pretty average family, with her dad owning a very popular fishing business and her mom, a businesswoman (whom she rarely get to see,since her mom travels a lot). She has an older brother,aged 19 helping her dad with the business and a black cat named Spooky,just because

From kindergarten to elementary school, Naoko was a shy and quiet child, she was a tomboy too, she had short hair, so often, people would mistook her as a boy. She talked behind people's back and she would constantly tell lies to everybody she met (that's why she's just so good at lying). She liked keeping an innocent personality,so that nobody would ever suspect her for damaging the school properties, despite being a troublemaker, she has never bullied anyone.During her final year in middle school, she realized how terrible she was and instantly regret everything, she told herself that she WILL be a better person in high school, and she grew her hair because she has developed an interest in girly clothing. She requested her parents if she could go to Tokyo and attend a high school called 'Hoshino Gakuen), //WINK WINK the school appealed to her because, first it's in Tokyo, away from everybody, and second was because she wanted her expand her skills in art and in order to start everything all over again (since pretty much everyone in Enoshima knew who she was and she knew nobody liked her). Her parents were reluctant to accept, but with a few sweet-talks,and dramatic begging,they agreed.

She created a couple of imaginary friends at the age of 9, her parents thought that it was just a 'phase' but when Naoko kept the whole act until she was 13, her parents brought her to the psychiatrist, which then she was diagnosed schizophrenia, but it wasn't that serious, as in, no multiple personalities or disorganized speech. She didn't get any medication for it though, because she knew how to control it. Whenever she goes to the group sessions for the mental disability, she kept her cool and it is as if she was there because of an misunderstanding with her parents.

Naoko is extremely close to her dad and brother, and a has terrible relationship with her mother. Her mother would constantly verbally abuse her,commenting on her ugly appearance and would beat her whenever Naoko didn't listen to her or if it's about her grades.

She used to take piano lessons, but she didn't enjoy it since she was forced to do it, she quits taking piano classes and focuses on athletics instead, she has won several medals when it comes to running which made her dad so proud while her mom kept telling her that she should focus on more lady-like activities (flower arranging, for example).

As for what she wants to be once she's all grown up, she's not quite sure. "I still have plenty of time anyways" is what she would tell herself, whenever a discussion around that topic pops up.

Other:

She actually admires her mom(her mom is very popular and wise,so Naoko wants to grow up to be just like her,well one day/cute), but she would always deny it and exclaims that she hates her mom so much
